Five star housebuilder David Wilson Homes is offering buyers in Exeter the chance to take a mortgage holiday this year.

The six month mortgage holiday is available on the three bedroom Archford design at Harts Meadow in the city and applies to reservations this month.

“We hope this offer is the perfect way to round off the summer,” said David Wilson Homes sales director Sara Parker. “We are committed to offering affordable homes to as many people as possible and this subsidy combined with schemes such as Help to Buy will help even more people take their first step on the housing ladder or move to a larger home in Exeter this year.”

The subsidy will be available to buyers using the innovative new Barclays Green Home Mortgage, which already provides a discounted rate for David Wilson Homes buyers.

Rates on the Green Home Mortgage are 1.5 per cent fixed for two years for those using Help to Buy and looking for a two year fixed deal. Buyers applying for a 90 per cent mortgage can secure a deal of 1.84 per cent fixed for two years.

Typical monthly payments with Help to Buy are £747 on a two year fixed rate with the five per cent deposit.

Harts Meadow is a new development of three, four and five bedrooms in Monkerton, a small hamlet in the village of Pinhoe, Exeter. There are excellent transport links to the city centre, while only being a short drive to the beautiful Devon countryside and coastline.
