House hunters in Wiltshire will have their first chance to step foot inside David Wilson Homes’ brand-new Mill Brook development in Westbury from September 8.
The five-star housebuilder is opening the doors to its new community of three and four bedroom homes and potential buyers will be able to see inside two show homes to get a feel of what it might be like to live at the new community.
The launch will be celebrated with a family fun day and a ribbon cutting ceremony, led by Mayor of Westbury, Cllr Ian Cunningham. There will be a BBQ and live music from Little Lunch Music Group. The band will use the event to give guests a flavour of what they can expect from its forthcoming performance at Westbury Festival, sponsored by David Wilson Homes.
The launch event, which runs from 12 to 5pm, will have plenty of David Wilson Homes’ sales advisers on hand to show guests round.
Visitors will be able to see inside the spacious Holden show home, which features an open plan kitchen, family and dining area with French doors leading onto the garden. The light and airy lounge has a bay window and the separate study provides a handy work space.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has an en suite shower room and the two further double bedrooms and single bedroom are served by a family bathroom. The garage and associated parking means there’s plenty of room for families with more than one car.
Visitors will also be able to see inside one of the housebuilder’s Chelworth style home. The entrance hall of this spacious home leads to the airy lounge and a stylish kitchen with breakfast and family areas. This space opens directly out onto the rear garden, as does the adjoining dining room. Downstairs also has a study – perfect for those looking for a home office. Four double bedrooms provide plenty of room for family and guests, the master with a full en suite and fitted wardrobes.
Both show homes are being styled by popular interior design firm, Trptych, and visitors will be able to get plenty of inspiration for how they might decorate their homes if they move to the development.
Louise Ware, sales director at David Wilson Homes, said: “The construction of Mill Brook has been a real labour of love for us and we can’t wait to finally invite the public in for the first time. We’re thrilled that we’ll be joined by performers from Westbury Festival, which we’ve been very proud to sponsor this year.”
Interest in Mill Brook is expected to be high, with a number of homes already sold off plan. To make an appointment to visit the show homes when the development opens visit www.dwh.co.uk and search for Mill Brook. Alternatively, call 0330 057 2222.
