WALES: HELP TO BUY IN PONTYPOOL

Buyers in South Wales can arm themselves with all the knowledge they need to secure the perfect new home – thanks to a special David Wilson Homes Help to Buy – Wales weekend event.

Five star housebuilder David Wilson Homes has assembled a team of experts including independent financial advisors for a special information event at its The Acres development in Pontypool in Monmouthshire on Saturday March 23rd and Sunday March 24th.

And those wishing to make use of Help to Buy – Wales will be treated to advice and information about all aspects of the buying process.

“This is an excellent opportunity for buyers taking their first steps onto the property ladder, or for existing homeowners looking to upgrade,” said sales director Richard Lawson.

“Visitors will have the chance to talk though their situation and find out all about Help to Buy – Wales, to give them the perfect opportunity of securing a stylish new home here in this beautiful part of the country.”

Help to Buy – Wales allows any homebuyer to secure a brand new home under the value of £300,000 with just a five per cent deposit. The Welsh Government lends the buyer 20 per cent of the value of the property in the form of an interest free equity loan for five years, meaning that buyers then gain access to some of the great mortgage rates currently available with just a 75 per cent mortgage. Available to all homebuyers, not just first timers, the scheme helps anyone looking for a boost up the property ladder.

The latest government figures reveal that 75 per cent of homes were bought by households with an income of between £20,001 and £50,000 with more than half of the homes bought being three bedroom properties.

Current availability at The Acres includes a range of three bedroom homes which are priced from £289,000 and available with Help to Buy – Wales.
